North Dallas High School Dallas ISD
This project included approximately 37,100 SF of an athletics and storm shelter addition for the existing campus and renovation of the rest of the existing 200,000 SF, 100 year old building. The addition included new boy’s and girl’s locker rooms and coaches offices as well as a competition basketball and volleyball gym for the first time in the 100 year history of this campus. In the renovation, several areas were repurposed including an extensive expansion of the existing kitchen, repurposing each of the existing gyms, and renovations to the balance of the learning, fine arts, and performing arts spaces in addition to a completely new layout of the administrative and counseling suites. The athletics practice field was improved including a new competition softball field and dugouts and football practice with synthetic turf throughout.
