Giants of the Savanna-Dallas Zoo
Design / Build services for the construction of an African Savanna. The 11-acre project provides appropriate landscape features and geological formations to simulate the natural African environment and provides visitors the feel of a walking tour of the wild savanna. The project consists of seven single-story buildings (35,770 SF) for Elephant, Giraffe, Mixed Hoof Stock, Hog and Mixed Predator Species Exhibit Space. Four of the seven buildings serve the strict purpose of animal holding while two buildings include a café/kitchen and restroom facilities. The remaining building is a combination viewing pavilion and animal holding facility
