Grand Opening of the Decatur Police Department
On Saturday, August 2, 2025, the Decatur Police Department proudly opened its new state‑of‑the‑art building. This incredible facility stands as a testament to the city’s commitment to safety, growth, and excellence in public service.
The ribbon‑cutting ceremony marked a defining milestone in enhancing public safety and strengthening community engagement in Decatur, Texas. This brand‑new 30,000 SF building, designed by Brinkley Sargent Wiginton Architects, offers a full suite of modern amenities, including administrative offices, training rooms, processing areas, evidence storage, and customized workspaces tailored to the department’s needs.
