Big things are happening in Fort Worth! We officially broke ground on the Tarrant Regional Water District (TRWD) New Operations Compound, marking a major milestone for regional infrastructure in North Texas.

Situated on a 23-acre site off I-820 in Northwest Fort Worth, this project is more than just a construction site—it’s a long-awaited investment in the people who keep our region running. TRWD’s dedicated staff serves over 2 million people across an 11-county area, and this new complex is designed to help them do their jobs better, faster, and more efficiently.

Project Highlights
The new 108,676 SF campus is designed to streamline regional operations and improve response times for critical systems. The compound will feature 10 new buildings that serve as a centralized hub for:

• Administration & Regional Operations
• Fleet Maintenance
• Infrastructure Storage
• Law Enforcement Division Facilities

At SEDALCO, we are honored to collaborate with a stellar project team to bring this vision to life. We’re working alongside TRWD, Freese and Nichols, Inc., Pronghorn Flats, and Huitt-Zollars to deliver a facility that will serve the community for decades to come.

For the 17th consecutive year, our team proudly joined forces with 6 Stones for their Community Powered Revitalization (CPR) initiative. This annual event remains a cornerstone of our community outreach, allowing us to give back directly to the neighborhoods where we live and work.

This year, we spent the day refreshing the exterior of a local home, working to restore a sense of pride and comfort for a homeowner facing maintenance challenges. For us, “rolling up our sleeves” is more than a phrase—it is a commitment to making a tangible impact on the lives of our neighbors.

Westlake Academy recently celebrated the groundbreaking of the Sam and Margaret Lee Arts & Science Addition. The event brought together students, staff, and community leaders—including Mayor Kim Greaves, Head of School Dr. Kelly Ritchie, and the Lee Estate—to kick off this transformative campus expansion.

Designed by BRW Architects to support the school’s International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum, the new facility will provide high-tech environments for discovery and creativity.

Fort Worth ISD community leaders and project partners recently gathered to break ground on a 91,000-square-foot modern replacement campus for Eastern Hills Elementary, signaling a significant investment in the future of education.

Designed to serve students from Pre-K through 5th grade, the new facility is centered on modernized instructional environments. The campus will feature a state-of-the-art Early Childhood Center and expanded dedicated wings for the arts, ensuring a well-rounded academic experience.

The design, spearheaded by BRW Architects, prioritizes both security and community integration. Key features of the new build include:

• Specialized Instructional Spaces: Tailored environments for collaborative learning.

• Dedicated Athletics: A new gymnasium that doubles as a high-capacity storm shelter.

• Enhanced Security: A layout focused on student safety while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for families.

We are proud to move into the construction phase alongside our joint venture partner, Post L Group Construction, and owner’s representative, PROCEDEO.

FORT WORTH, Texas (July 14, 2025) – Tyler McCarty, President of SEDALCO, INC., a Fort Worth based general contractor, announced today Gabby Robbins promotion to Vice President – Houston Division.

“I am excited to announce this well-deserved promotion for Gabby.  Since joining our firm in 2008, Gabby has been an ardent champion of our culture and core values and successfully managed many important clients and building programs for our organization.  In this new role, she will have the opportunity to strengthen relationships and expand SEDALCO’s client base in the Houston region while consistently ensuring that we execute our mission of providing the best construction experience to our valued clients.”

In her new role, Gabby will provide global day-to-day leadership and management of our Houston Division, implementing plans and policies to achieve our corporate objectives for this office.  This will allow her to take on new roles in the business development realm while continuing to manage and mentor SEDALCO’s operational teams to ensure operational excellence.  Additionally, she will be tasked with developing and strengthening relationships with current staff in Houston, helping each one in continuing their development and growth at SEDALCO.
